Top 7 Foods to Boost Testosterone

#1 Pasture-Raised Eggs

Pasture-raised quality, best taste, best omega-3 fats, and other fat-soluble vitamins and minerals including Vitamin D and folate make these eggs a quality choice. Perhaps the most bioavailable protein source. If you’ve not tried pasture-raised quality yet, you’re missing out. Don’t settle for ‘cage free’ you want pasture-raised eggs.

#2 Grass-Fed Beef & Beef Liver

Once again, sourcing is KEY here. The grass-fed beef tastes amazing, a great sustainable staple for protein in the diet. Including grass-fed beef liver in moderation has profound benefits as a TRUE superfood. From riboflavin to keep fat metabolism healthy, heme iron for energy levels, and zinc for testosterone support and immune function. Just to name a few. Beef liver is nature’s true multivitamin that covers so many bases including vitamin C.

#3 Oysters (packed in water)

One of the most potent sources of zinc. If one is feeling drained from a bunch of love, eat some oysters packed in water. Avoid the crappy oils they’re often packed with. You know to stay away from the soybean and canola oils, oysters packed in water are your best bet. Oysters are a great aphrodisiac, and I guarantee you’ll acquire the taste for them from these benefits.

#4 Raw Honey

Raw honey is not only a potent source of carbohydrates but it also has many natural enzymes for the immune function to blood flow, and also a decent source of boron to optimize free testosterone levels. Don’t forget that quality carbohydrate intake is key for relaxation, recovery, and testosterone synthesis. This is also why raw honey has made the list.

#5 Garlic

One of my favorite spices and flavors I add to almost everything! Garlic has been shown to increase testosterone due to its sulfur-containing compounds. Very powerful to improve blood flow, and optimizing immune function as well. Garlic has also been shown to have a profound impact on reducing excess cortisol, thereby relieving excess stress.

#6 Organic Sorghum

Sorghum has shown a significant effect on increasing the androgen DHT. Which is a downstream conversion of having good testosterone levels. Sorghum is a grain that is similar to larger-sized quinoa and can be cooked similarly to brown rice. This has also shown promise to reduce conversion of testosterone to estradiol. Definitely give sorghum a try, it’s one of my preferred grains once I give it enough time to fully cook!

#7 Cod Liver Oil

Cod Liver oil must be included to round out this list, another one of those TRUE superfoods. I recommend taking this as a supplement, however. A supplement you take before or after your biggest meal. Because it’s not isolated to be JUST vitamin D, it is superior to maintaining vitamin D levels, but also it’s improved synergistic vitamins like a potent dose of vitamin A. Super healthy source of cholesterol, super healthy fatty acids, and all essential for testosterone levels.
